Jane Russell Geddings

Jane Russell Geddings, a native of Charlotte, NC, has been teaching movement for thirty years, in all disciplines and styles for all ages, beginner through professional.

Geddings is a LARY and HAMI award winner for her choreography in theaters along the west coast of Florida. She presently choreographs for Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center and New Century Opera. Geddings' expertise includes acting and singing, as well as dancing and musical theater.

She is the preschool director for All American Dance Factory in Tampa, FL, which was just honored as one of the top 50 competition studios in the nation. Geddings serves on the faculty of Space City Tap Fest, an annual event in Houston, TX. Her work also includes writing and producing children’s musicals.

Geddings' company, Miss Jane’s Class Inc., provides dance and gymnastics programs in private and day schools. Miss Jane’s Class students range in age from 2 to 92.

Her teaching experience includes sixteen years with Dance Tree International, where she remained the top producer for the state of Florida. Geddings served as an adjunct professor for the University of South Florida dance program and was instrumental in introducing tap in the curriculum.

She and her husband, classical pianist Robert Miller, are lifetime members of the American Liszt Society, and are presently restoring a 105 year old home in Brooksville, Florida.
