Christopher Holloway headshotChristopher Holloway has been teaching private voice for over ten years in a wide variety of styles including opera, classical, oratorio, musical theatre, jazz, and others. Christopher’s students are currently performing leading roles in fully-staged musical theatre productions and headline acts on international cruise lines and theme parks, including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Carnival as well as Disney World, Busch Gardens, and Universal Studios. Private and collegiate students continue to win leading roles in community and school productions and receive substantial scholarships to attend prestigious institutions across the United States. Christopher’s other voice faculty assignments have included The University of South Florida and The University of Tampa, and he holds advanced degrees from The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and Florida Southern College. As a performer, Mr. Holloway has taken the operatic stage with distinguished opera companies including Houston Grand Opera, Opera Tampa, Winter Opera of St. Louis, St. Petersburg Opera, Opera Naples, Orlando Opera, Florida Opera Theatre, Utah Festival Opera, Opera in the Heights, Lyric Opera of Los Angeles, Brevard Music Center, and Operafestival di Roma. His repertoire is vast and includes over fifty roles in opera and in musical theatre. He lives in the Tampa Bay area with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two cocker spaniels, Winston and Mabel.
